Chateau Certan de May
Château Certan de May in Pomerol has its roots in the history of an old Scottish family who founded the Domaine de Certan at the end of the 16th century. Over time, this huge domain has undergone several upheavals, particularly during the revolution of 1848, which led to its dismemberment. Part of this prestigious vineyard then became Certan de May and thus began its own path to excellence.
Today, Château Certan de May is very well known thanks to the commitment of the Barreau-Badar family, the heirs of the de Mays. As guardians of ancestral know-how, this family attaches great importance to preserving the history and style of their wine.
