2015 Fortissimo Pinot Noir
Auslieferung im Frühjahr 2027!
Delivery in spring 2027!
This could only be Appassionata Fortissimo. Tasted twice, with rather more clarity in the second bottle (I suspect the first had recently travelled as there’s a fair amount of deposit in a wine like this with no fining and filtration). Gorgeously indulgent, utterly singular and unique aromatically. So intensely floral, so aromatically lifted, so dense, so meaty, so substantial. So youthful too. A wine of staggering purity (hence the importance of the second tasting). Dense and impressively compact, yet sinuous and dynamic, with a fluidity and vibrancy that is captivating. Almost bloody in its ironrich midpalate minerality. Rose petals and peony bulbs, a little hyacinth too. Rosehip and clove. Meaty too, with a little smoky veal jus and some of its glossiness. Deliciously hedonistic. 98.
- 98/100 Colin Hay
Fragrant, curling gunsmoke, finely delineated, delicate tannins, balanced and finessed dried cranberry, orange peel, iron filings, firm and poised, excellent stuff, love this wine. Another impressive vintage from Erni Loosen, from a project that was started in 2005.
