Chateau Puy Blanquet
This 19-hectare property located in Saint-Etienne de Lisse is planted on a clay-limestone rump which dominates the Dordogne valley. The family of Malet Roquefort, one of the oldest in Saint-Emilion where it has been established since 1705, has among its domains, the Château La Gaffelière, the first Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Emilion and also the Château Armens, Saint-EmilionGrand Cru, the Château Chapelle d'Aliénor, Bordeaux Supérieur, and now Château Puyblanquet, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. By this acquisition, the Malet Roquefort family also revives their history since Château Puyblanquet belonged to them until 1959, for almost a century and a half.
