Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte
In 1990, Florence and Daniel Cathiard fell in love with Château Smith Haut Lafitte. They acquired it with the firm intention of continuing the tradition of excellence of this noble wine estate. "Our philosophy can be summarised in one sentence: Do everything we can to ensure that every vintage - whether red or white - reflects our magnificent terroir."
After three years of renovation work, they settled in the heart of the vineyard - in George Smith's 18th-century Chartreuse - to devote themselves entirely to their new passion together with a talented and dedicated team.
