Chateau Petit Gravet Ainé
Château Petit Gravet Aîné is located below the village of Saint-Émilion on an exceptional terroir of deep sand. The unique character of this vineyard lies in its grape variety, which consists almost exclusively of Cabernet Franc. It is rare that this grape variety does not form the majority in the Saint-Émilion appellation. The history of this grape variety goes back to a division of the property of Catherine Papon-Nouvel's grandmother, Marie-Louise Nouvel, into two parts. And so it was that J.J. Nouvel inherited this atypical and exceptional estate.
