Chateau Clos Saint Martin
A house in the midst of the vines
Having served as little more than a shed for more than half a century, the presbytery was brought back to life in 2014. What is immediately apparent is that Clos Saint-Martin is not only about cultivating vines, it is also a way of life. It is here that Sophie goes to extraordinary lengths to serve the most delicious Bazadaise beef tournedos with duck foie gras, or sea lamprey bordelaise, both a heavenly match to a bottle of Clos Saint-Martin from whichever vintage takes her fancy.
