Abreu Vineyard
When David Abreu was growing up, the Napa Valley was both his playground and his classroom. He was born into a family of ranchers and spent most of his youth working in Napa's original vineyards. Over time, David's sense of what sets a site apart - why one vineyard produces great wine and another's is merely good - grew beyond the ordinary. Eventually, intuition and experience led him to four exceptional vineyard sites: Madrona Ranch, Cappella, Las Posadas and Thorevilos. He planned and planted each one. And with an uncompromising - some would say insane - commitment to quality, he and his staff cultivate them to perfection.
