The nose is quite peppery now with lots of coffee beans, mocha-scented oak, herbs, almonds, blackcurrants and ivy. Full and dense yet extremely refined in terms of the structured tannin backbone with fresh acidity that drives things through to a long finish. A wine that combines elegance and depth. Drink in 2020.
