2021 Ried Herawingert Pinot Noir
Bright ruby-rose colour, crushed roses, violets, red cherry, orange zest, this is super pretty, great quality with grip and personality. Grown on slate-limestone soils in a tiny 4ha vineyard among the mountains of Lichtenstein, aged in a mix of 225l French oak barrels and larger 500l oak casks. Hannah Fiegenschuh of Derenoncourt Consultancy works on this alongside winemaker Nathalie Ströhle.
