(Saint-Émilion; 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon; a final yield of 33 hl/ha; pH 3.48; 14% ABV; tasted a number of times including at the property with Emmanuelle Fulchi, with consistent notes). Really beautiful aromatically, with a most radiant, lifted and aerial damson and dark berry fruit, generously enrobed with notes of graphite, cedar and a delicate wild herbality that shades into florality. This is very accomplished, very complete and very elegant too – one of those wines with a shimmering, beguiling and almost haunting beauty. When retasted at the property it's slightly more 'solaire' than Larcis next door, but both properties are producing their best ever wines. Truly excellent.

Sweet berry fruit, shows lovely grip and clear limestone signature without sacrificing flesh. Raspberry, blood orange, pomegranate, wet stones, grilled cumin, incense, oyster shell rise through the palate. Harvest September 5 to 23. 30% new oak. 3.48 pH. Yield 33 hl/ha, JC Meyrou director, Emmanuelle d'Aligny-Fulchi technical director.-
95/100 Jane Anson
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Bellefont-Belcier rockets out with vibrant notes of crushed plums, black raspberries, and wild blueberries, followed by suggestions of pencil shavings and lavender. The medium-bodied palate delivers lightly chewy tannins with a crisp backbone and a spicy kick to the finish. The blend is 70% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Cabernet Franc.
