Chateau Brane Cantenac
The château was founded by the Gorsse family in the 18th century. In 1883, it was acquired by Baron de Brane (after whom the current second wine is named), after whom he sold Mouton. In 1925 it came into the possession of the Lurton family and since 1992 it has been run by Henri Lurton. Today, a total of 78 hectares are cultivated in the Margaux and Haut-Médoc appellations and around 250,000 bottles are bottled annually. Since 2019, some of the vineyards have been cultivated organically.
