Thunevin-Calvet
Our estate was founded in 2001 in the foothills of the Pyrenees, on the Cathar castle route in Maury, when two winegrowers met: Jean-Luc Thunevin, owner of Château Valandraud in Saint-Emilion, and Jean-Roger Calvet, a native of Maury. Jean-Luc first bought a few hectares which, combined with Jean-Roger's vines, produced the first vintage, vinified in a garage located in a narrow street in the village of Maury. Little by little, the property expanded. Today, 50 hectares are cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner! The estate's wines are vinified in a resolutely eco-friendly winery, built in 2008.
