Chateau Le Gay
The château was owned by Miss Robin for sixty years and produced a wine that was recognised by even the most discerning wine connoisseurs. Thérèse and Marie Robin were held in high esteem by all the inhabitants of Pomerol and upheld their father's motto: "Quality over quantity".
When Catherine Péré-Vergé took over the estate in 2002, she immediately began the complete renovation of the vineyard: construction of a new fermentation and barrique cellar, restoration of the manor house and planting of 4 hectares of unspoilt plots. Here, everything was thought out and implemented to ensure gentle treatment of the grapes and wine with the choice of gravity, avoiding pumps and manipulation.
