Chateau Clos Saint Emilion Philippe
Château Clos Saint-Emilion Philippe has been in the family for 4 generations. Purchased in 1927 by Léon Galhaud (a renowned nurseryman from the Libourne region who already owned 180 hectares of vines in Saint-Emilion), the property was passed on in 1964 to his daughter Simone and her son-in-law Marc Philippe. In 1991, Jean-Claude Philippe, a doctor by profession (grandson of Léon Galhaud) took over the running of the estate with his wife Nicole. Since Jean-Claude Philippe's death, the property has belonged to his three children and is managed by Sandrine. Today, the property covers an area of 7 ha 80.
