Andreas Lenzenwoger Definitely Red
His thirst for knowledge was obviously strong. If you listen to Andreas Lenzenwöger's CV, you can't help but come to this conclusion. After all, as a sommelier alongside Adi Schmid (still at the “old” Steirereck) or at Josef Viehhauser's “Le Canard” in Hamburg, he already knows a thing or two about wine. But Lenzenwöger's Faustian pursuit, his thirst for knowledge about wine, ultimately took him from the restaurant straight to a winery. And not just anywhere, but as a trainee with Willi Sattler in southern Styria. He went on to become cellar master. Next stop, or rather prochain arrêt: Châteauneuf du Pape!
