We are an Austrian company that has been importing top international wines since the 1990s. Today, we are proud to be able to offer you more than 2,000 wines.
What sets us apart
All the wines in our portfolio are kept in stock in Illmitz, which results in short delivery times. Good personal contacts with the producers make it possible to offer the wines at competitive prices. We also have some exclusive partnerships with certain wineries and are therefore able to stock some rarities in our portfolio that are only available from a few selected retailers
Our portfolio
The focus is on Bordeaux and California, supplemented by top wineries from the remaining French appellations as well as Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, but also Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand. These include big names such as Harlan Estate, Sine Qua Non, Breuer, Egon Müller, Gantenbein, Vietti, Luca Roagna, Lopez de Heredia, Philipponnat, Château Clinet and Château Smith Haut Lafitte.

Hans Martin Gesellmann
Portfolio Manager
Hans Martin has been working in the wine industry for over a decade and has been able to build up an enormous amount of knowledge about wine during this time. He is responsible for the Kracher Fine Wine portfolio and is your first point of contact if you want to buy wine or seek advice.
Helga Karrer
Sales
After successfully completing her wine academy diploma, Helga gained valuable experience in the champagne trade and fine dining. Today, she brings her passion for exceptional wines to full fruition with us - with a lot of heart, know-how and a fine sense of enjoyment.
Hannes Wolf
Sales
After completing his dual studies with a focus on hotel management, Hannes deepened his knowledge of wine and also worked in marketing. He completed two sommelier qualifications and expanded his expertise in the areas of fine dining, wine consulting and sales. He has been part of the Fine Wine team since 2024.

"Kracher Fine Wine was founded in 1996 on the advice of a very good friend of my father, now a family friend, Manfred Krankl from Sine Qua Non. He really wanted to see his wines in Austria's top restaurants and asked us if we could do it. My father said: 'Yes, we'll import it and then we'll sell it with the Kracher wines.'
That was our first import. Shortly afterwards, we added Gantenbein from Switzerland, then some Bordeaux wines, some Italian wines, then Egon Müller, Dr. Loosen, Dönnhoff from Germany and that was the genesis of a small import company that now has more than 2,000 wines in its portfolio. About ten years ago, we launched finewineshop.com as our webshop and we are very happy to be able to present our customers with new, great wines in our portfolio again and again."
