Podere Giodo
Carlo Ferrini is undisputedly one of Italy's most important wine consultants (working with Casanova di Neri, Brancaia and Mazzei, among others). In 2002, he founded his own winery, Giodo, named after his parents Giovanna and Donatello. It is located south of Montalcino, divided into three parcels and planted with selected Sangiovese clones that he selected during his scientific research.
