Wein aus Spanien

The history of Spanish wine production dates back to around 4,000 BC, and Spain is the world's largest wine producer in terms of area. However, it produces less than France or Italy, which means low volumes and high yields.
The most famous wine-growing region in Spain is Rioja. The loamy and calcareous soils produce wonderful wines from Tempranillo, Grenache, and Mazuelo.
Spanish red wine is best served at room temperature. Strong dishes go very well with the intense tannins. For fish, it is best to choose a fruitier red wine.
