Domaine Latour-Giraud
Domaine Latour-Giraud is located in the municipality of Meursault in Burgundy. The history of the winery dates back to the late 17th century. Today, the estate is managed by Jean-Pierre Latour. The majority of the white wine vines are located in the five Meursault 1ers Crus appellations. With 2.5 hectares in Meursault Genevrières, Domaine Latour-Giraud is the most important owner of this outstanding Premier Crus.

Gerhard Kracher explains:
“We started Kracher Fine Wine in ’96. It was basically an idea by Manfred Krankl from Sine Qua Non, who was a very close friend of my father and nowadays we’re close family friends, and he wanted to have his Sine Qua Non wines in Austria in the best restaurants and asked my father if we can do something. And so we started to import his wines and shortly after we started to import Gantenbein from Switzerland, then some Bordeaux wines, some Italian wines, then German wines: Egon Müller, Dr. Loosen, Dönnhoff, and then a real company was formed. Nowadays, we import more than 2,000 wines. About ten years ago we started our web shop finewineshop.com and we are always very happy presenting new, fantastic wines to our customers.”
