Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper is a little subdued to start, soon unfurling to offer notes of iron ore, mossy tree bark, and black truffles over a core of crushed blackberries, preserved plums, and cassis. The full-bodied palate delivers impressive freshness, with a very fine-grained texture to support the vibrant black fruits, finishing long and minerally.
