Der Jahrgang 2018 hat eine dunkle, intensive violette Farbe; gut komponierte frische Fruchtaromen von Pflaumen, Brombeeren und Schlehen in der Nase; ein kompakter, voller Geschmack am Gaumen, bei dem sich schwarze Früchte gut mit Gewürzen und Lakritze vermischen; es gibt weiche Tannine, gut integrierte Eiche und einen rauchigen, herbstlichen Fruchtabgang.
