2017 McDougall Ranch Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
A gorgeous and, like the Graveyard, wafting nose is both wonderfully spicy and floral while displaying really lovely layering to the various dark berry fruit scents. The elegance carries over to the succulent and utterly delicious medium weight flavors that possess a highly refined mouth feel, all wrapped in a mildly austere, complex and serious finish. This is clearly built-to-age though it's not so backwards that it couldn't be approached after 5-ish or so years. Lovely juice. (Burghound)
