Notions of ripe black plum and black cherry come with a faint notion of tar on the brooding nose. The palate comes in with absolute concentration and real intent. The tannins, stuctured and fine, have begun to resolve but leave no doubt about the absolute backbone. This is a big, bold and also elegant wine that is just becoming approachable and will continue to evolve. (WineEnthusiast)
