The 2014 Hossfeld Red Blend is once again one of the real gems in this lineup. Silky, voluptuous and racy, the 2014 packs a serious punch, but the fruit nearly covers the tannins. Dark red cherry, chocolate, spice and menthol all make an appearance, but it is the wines pure power and structure that stand out most. This is a fabulous wine from Mark Carter.
