2010 Les Grandes Murailles
A strong effort from the Reiffers family (Michel Rolland is the consultant), the 2010 Grandes-Murailles has the same winemaking and ownership as two other St.-Emilion, Cote de Baleau and the microscopic but superb terroir Clos St.-Martin. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by abundant blueberry and black raspberry fruit intertwined with hints of incense and camphor. Medium to full-bodied with moderate tannins as well as excellent purity and length, it should drink well for 12-15+ years. (Wine Advocate)
