This is beautifully lithe, polished and pure in texture with, as ever, the most gracious of tannins. Here from a slightly cooler vintage this seems if anything even more refined and elegant. Cedar, cedar and more cedar. Lilac. Liy of the valley. Violet, with aeration. So much grace and charm, so much elegance and finesse. Delicate and supersvelte texturally. Radiantly pure. Powdery tannins on the finish indicate the delicacy of the extraction and the longterm aging potential. Texturally sublime and aromatically very beautiful. 98.

Love the fragrant and mouthwatering delicacy of this moreish 100% Merlot, showcasing a more delicate side of this grape. A wine that is very easy to recommend.
