Beautiful, ripe and sweet fruit on the nose with plums and hints of cedar and vanilla. Extremely floral, too. Medium body, creamy and refined tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Shows lovely balance and harmony for the vintage. A blend of 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. Second wine of Château Angélus. Drink after 2022. (James Suckling)
