Kutch’s 2016 Pinot Noir Bohan Vineyard is lifted and gracious in this vintage, with striking aromatic presence and deceptively mid-weight structure that makes its case more on persistence than body. Cranberry, rose petal, blood orange and pomegranate add layers of nuance. After a few years, Jamie Kutch seems to have found the right balance in this site, and it shows.
