What a lovely red-cherry and pomegranate nose this medium-bodied, elegantly structured St.-Emilion has. Very fresh finish with plenty of chalky minerality that builds on the long, clean finish. An excellent food-wine. Second wine of Bélair-Monange. A blend of 97 per cent merlot and three per cent cabernet franc. Drink or hold. (James Suckling)
