Aromas of pure flowers, dark fruits and black peppercorns. Some cloves too. Full-bodied yet refined and polished with a laser-guided finish that compresses the palate and lengthens the persistency. Pinpointed. All in the finish. Wonderful. Made with ancient vines and a field blend. 30% whole bunches when fermented. Aged in 60-year-old 1,000-liter German casks. Drink or hold. (James Suckling)
