This is the first vintage of this new wine from Boroli. The 2013 Barolo Brunella is an austere and dry expression of Nebbiolo. Dried fruit, spice and licorice emerge from the bouquet. In the mouth, the wine is balanced, fresh and elegant. This is a very pretty cru expression with a long and clean finish. (Wine Advocate)
