2022 Melbury

The 2022 Melbury is deep garnet-purple in color. It needs a little coaxing to bring out notes of fresh black currants, mulberries, and cedar chest, plus wafts of baking spices and fragrant soil. The full-bodied palate is taut with muscular black fruits, framed by firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and savory. Needs time!
