A tiny 1.3ha vineyard, opens with a shot of cassis puree, intense and concentrated, clear licorice and black pepper spice. This is pretty closed at this early In Bottle moment, as you might expect from a wine with so much intensity and tension, and it retains the austerity of limestone that is sometimes lost in the heat of the vintage.
