2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru
Enough wood to comment on setting off the ripe and layered dark berry and earth-suffused nose. There is both impressive richness and mid-palate concentration to the powerful big-bodied flavors that possess real punch and drive on the complex and strikingly persistent if youthfully austere finale. This is an excellent Clos de Vougeot that is very much built to repay extended cellaring. (Burghound)
