A blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, the 2018 Rauzan-Segla is deep garnet-purple in color. It slowly emerges from the glass with evocative notes of baked blackberries and blackcurrant cordial, plus waves of blueberry pie, sandalwood, rose bud tea, and licorice. The medium to full-bodied palate is plush and juicy, with seamless freshness and a long, spicy finish.
