2017 Patrimony Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon

We have achieved a milestone with this special release — possibly the highest phenolics ever encountered in the world of Cabernet Sauvignon. The result is a full-throt­tled experience that will leave you speechless. Composed entirely of Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine was aged in 100-percent new French oak barrels, coopered from wood that was cured in the elements for five years to attain unparalleled charac­ter; as well as from very ancient trees that provide the rarest wood available. It opens with explosive scents of lilac, thyme, cherries and dark chocolate, accompanied by a layer of perfectly ripe black and blue fruits. The tannins are exquisitely integrated and silky, while the freshness of the wine is backed by an endless finish.
