Waves of tar, grilled meat, smoke, dark pepper spice ensure a ton of impact on the opening beats, with muscular tannins given a lift by ecualyptus freshness. This was an unusually hot and dry vintage in Uruguay, and delivers intensity and spice. A great first outing for the inaugural vintage of this wine, fully in its drinking window now. Aged in large size oak casks, French oak, untoasted. Heavy bottle. Bottled unfiltered, low fining.
